First official dirt bikes and ATV race

The first Official Lebanese Motorcycle event was organized sunday 8 /5 /2011 by the newly born Lebanese Motorcycle club (LMC).
 


The event that saw the presence and the sponsorship of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and its president Mr. Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, who is also the vice president of the international Motorcycle federation, was held at Ramelt Al Baida beach started at around 11 Am and ended at around 2 PM. The track was built on the slippery sands of the Ramelt Al Baida sands and featured long straights and 2 jumps in addition to very steep curves. The whole event was divided into 3 races, 2 for Motorcross bikes and 1 for ATV and quads. The contestants were divided into 4 categories 3 for adults and a category for kids.
 
LMC organized the event without demanding any entrance fees from the participants and they also provided some bikes for a part of the participants too. The first race was dedicated for 250 cc bikes and the final results came as follows:
  1. Bike number 94; MISHAAL L IMADI
  2. Bike number 26; AHMAD L HASAN
  3. Bike number 12; EDMOND SASINE
 
The second race was an open category for the bike with 400cc engines and above and the results came as follows:
  1. Bike number 10; GHASAN NACHAR
  2. Bike number 39; BILAL DABOUSI
  3. Bike number 36; MOSTAFA L HASAN
The third race was for the ATVs and quads and the results came as follows:
  1. ATV Number 25; Bilal HASAN
  2. ATV Number 33; AHMAD MASRI
  3. ATV Number 20; GEORGE GHOURABEH
