Event: The opening
round (Round 1) of the National Motorcross Championship
·
Date: April 21st
·
Time: Event starts
at 9 in the morning, official race starts at 2:30 pm
·
Location: AREC (AUB
Farm) at Point Four in the Bekaa Valley in Hoch Sned (half way between Zahleh
and Baalbeck)
·
Attendance: Up to 1,000
viewers, mostly AUB community and bikers
·
Security: Very tight
inside a closed and secure location (secured by the Embassy Security
Department), private security, and Lebanese Army.
·
Safety: Track was
designed by Mr. Issa al-Awadhi, member of FIM and FIM-Asia under very tight
safety standards. AUB Red Cross & Ambulances will be present.
·
Insurance: Provided by
Commercial Insurance.
·
Facilities: Parking for
bikes and cars (strictly organized according to ticket serial numbers), games
and activities before the event, farm visit and sight-seeing, and other
entertainment activities (including families and kids). Dining area and toilets
are also available.
·
Foods & Beverages: Catering by
Casper & Gambini, and a variety of food and beverage providers (including
Taanayel, Kassatly Chtura, Wilco, Rim, and others)
·
TV Coverage: Live and
recorded by MTV and LBCI
·
Transportation: buses will be
available for transportation from Beirut to the location and back (seating only
by ticket serial numbers), no extra charge (included in the ticket)
·
Tickets: Will be
selling at $20 per person, free for children under 5 years of age. Quantity is
limited to ensure quality. No tickets will be sold or made available in the
market after April 17.
